The short version
PatchHop is an offline puzzle platformer for iPhone and iPad. The game saves progress on your device. It has no account system, advertising, developer-operated player server or integrated analytics service.
This policy covers the current game and this information website. Using the website is separate from playing the installed game.
What stays on your device
The game stores the information needed to continue your adventure:
- Completed levels, best star ratings and unlocked chapters.
- Task progress, reward totals and claimed rewards.
- Unlocked and selected outfits, jump trails and terrain appearances.
- Music, sound and haptic preferences.
- The local date used to refresh Daily tasks.
The game does not send this save to us. There is no in-game cloud sync or cross-device account.
Information the game does not request
PatchHop does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, precise location, photos, camera or microphone. It does not request an advertising identifier or permission to track you across other apps and websites.
There is no chat, public profile or player-upload feature. The game does not ask children or other players to submit personal information.
Your save, your control
Open Settings in the game and choose Reset data. A second confirmation is required. This returns local progress, unlocks and preferences to their starting state.
Deleting the app also removes its local app data. Offloading an app may retain its documents and data. Device backups or restores managed by your operating system can retain or restore app data according to your device settings; these are separate from an in-game sync service.
We do not keep a server copy of your save and cannot recover or merge it for you. You can change music, sound and haptic preferences without resetting your progress.
When you visit this website
This site provides game information, screenshots and these documents. Its own code does not set cookies, write browser storage, run analytics, embed advertising or submit information through a form. Images, fonts and scripts are not requested from third-party content services; type uses fonts already available on your device.
Opening a website still sends a normal request to the server delivering the page. Technical details such as an IP address, browser information, requested page and request time may be processed by the hosting service to deliver and protect the site. That is separate from the offline game save. Host logging and retention depend on the hosting configuration.
Device and platform services
Your operating system and app distribution platform may handle downloads, device backups and diagnostic information under their own policies and your settings. PatchHop does not include a separate diagnostic upload service.
The game’s local storage benefits from the protections provided by your device. No storage system can be guaranteed against every loss or unauthorised access, so protect access to your device and review its backup settings.
Changes to this policy
If the game or website changes how it handles data, this policy will be updated to describe the new behaviour. The date at the top identifies this version. This policy does not describe unimplemented online features.
